Another Christmas: A new one.

                 Christmas is now fast approaching. And who could have thought of forgetting about the gifts? Expensive gifts.

                 Expensive? Yes, for many people. For they have thought that the essence of Christmas is gift giving. Expensive gift giving. Giving something which depends on the brand, the look, the price.

                 But, what really is the true essence of Christmas?

                 Christmas. Christ.

                 Christmas is the birth day of Christ. It is a day when a baby boy named, Jesus, was born at Bethlehem. It is the day when Mary and Joseph had a child. It is a day which marks the coming of the saviour of humanity from all the evils. It is a day when God had shown his love to us. It is a day which reminds us, people, that God wants us to be like him, like Jesus. And share the love we feel, share the blessings we receive.

                 We must be a Jesus Christ to everyone, in every way we could: giving everyone our time, support, happiness, care, love. We should love one another: our family, our neighbours, our friends, our relatives, our enemies. And show that we live as Jesus Christ, as our father wanted us to do when he had given his only son.

                 Most of the times, we forget the true meaning of the real Christmas: as Christ as the center of the celebration and the reason why he is here. And now is the time for us to realise that and do our best to be that Jesus Christ everyone is waiting for.

Kalokohan ng DepEd

Suspensyon?  Hai, nahuli na naman ang DepEd sa pag-aanounce ng suspensyon ng mga klase.

Umagang-umaga, may sakit pa ako, kulang sa tulog (lahat naman ata ng mga estudyante), nalate ng gising, at lahat na ng kamalasan ay sumunod. Di nakapag ayos ng buhok, di naayos ang bag, walang panyo, at kung anu-ano pa.

Pagdating ko ng eskwelahan, lahat palayo ang punta. Parang may sunog na nagaganap. Ang pagkakaiba lang ay masaya lahat. Maliban sa akin. Suspendido pala lahat ng klase. Sayang lahat. Sayang.

Winning when Losing: Another side of a story.

Sometimes we have given our best and yet, we lose. We fail. We fall. We try again, until we realise that we have tried enough. Our best. Our all.

Maybe we could  stop, or maybe slow down, and try to think. Think, as possibly we could. Think as if there is no tomorrow. Think those things we have done and we have been doing. Seek for an inner peace that is within us. And seek for the beauty around us. And now, wake up! Wake up and stand up!

Stand up. You'll make it this time, without falling nor losing. Be yourself, be your best, be everything, be free to give it another try. No boundaries will hinder you for you are at your best. And if you'll lose, be happy; you've won.

And the lesson?

Winning is when you fail and you try.

Ang Pag-ibig (The Love — the revised version)

Minsan lamang magmahal ang isang tao. At mas minsan lamang sa minsan kung magmahal ang tao ng tunay. Mahirap hanapin ang tunay na pag-ibig sa mundo, ngunit anong saya pag natagpuan natin ito at tanggapin sa ‘ting buhay.

Bata pa lamang tayo, ay maaring meron na tayong mga nagugustuhan. Maaring artista, kapitbahay, o madalas nga ay kaklase pa. Habang tumatanda ay mas natututo tayong magmahal ng seryoso: mas nagiging malalim ang relasyon na namumuo at mas nagiging masakit ang mga hiwalayan. Natututo din tayong masaktan, at kada karanasan ay isang pagsubok upang muling bumangon at ituloy ang buhay; maaring maging mahirap ang proseso ngunit ang bunga ay sadyang napakasarap.

Dumarating na lamang ang panahon kung saan mahahanap din natin ang taong tunay na mamamahal sa atin: maaring ‘di ngayon, at sa makalawa, pero darating pa rin ang panahong iyon at kailangan tayong maging handa sa lahat ng pagsubok. Kailangan maging matatag sa lahat ng kahaharaping problema at magkaroon lamang ng tiwala sa bawat isa.

‘Di madaling magmahal: para itong isang byahe na ‘di pwedeng bumitaw at kailangang i-enjoy ang bawat hinto at pagandar ng sasakyan. Maaring ma-traffic sa byahe, basta ang mahalaga ay magkasamang nagmamahalan.

(The Love — the revised version)

People seldom fall in love. And true love is more seldom to us people. Hard to find is true love in this world, but what a joy if we find it in our lives and readily accept it.

We’re still children, but we already adore people. They might be artists, our  neighbors, and most of the times our classmates. While we grow up, we learn more how to love seriously: deeper are the relationships formed and break-ups are saddening. We also learn how to be hurt and every experience is a great challenge for us to stand-up again and continue living; hard might be the process but the fruit is another life for us.

There will come a time in which we would find the person who would love us truly: maybe not today, or tomorrow, but I know he/she will still come and we need to be ready for all the downs we will pass through. Trust should be ours and strength shall ne’er be lost in our lives.

It is not easy to love: it is a journey that you can’t let go easily but you need to enjoy every stop and go of the ride. The ride might be slow, but what is important is that you are together, loving each other.
